What the request form collects

Your name, yard name, email, optional phone, how you want us to reply, approximate monthly intakes, and optionally your public TDLR license number, county or metro, current software, an approximate count of late cars and a note. We also store your language and consent. We use it only to respond to your request. Requests are stored in our database and read by ClearLot operators who sign in to a private inbox.

What not to send

Do not submit VINs, plates, vehicle-owner names, addresses or motor-vehicle records through this website. There is no document upload here.

Our own usage counts

When you download a checklist or sample board, use the calculator, or click to contact us, the site records an aggregate daily count of that event type and the page language. It does not record your name, form contents, IP address or the page URL. We use no third-party analytics or advertising vendor of our own.

Hosting-platform analytics

The published site is hosted on Replit. The hosting platform currently adds its own analytics script (from i.replit.com) to published pages. That script can send page title, hostname, page URL, referrer, browser language and screen size to the platform. It is separate from our own counts, and we are reviewing it with the host.

Operator sign-in

ClearLot staff sign in to the private inbox through Clerk, an authentication provider. Visitors to the public site are not asked to sign in.

Vehicle records (DPPA)

Under a signed agreement, motor-vehicle records obtained on a yard's behalf are used only for owner and lienholder notification and related permitted purposes, and are never sold or used for marketing.

Sharing and requests

We do not sell personal information. For a privacy request, use the request form and write "privacy request" in the note.
